Photoshoot: Jack & Jill Photobooth

Just over a month ago I was called upon by a friend to help with a dress-up photobooth at her Jack & Jill party. I happily accepted as I hadn’t been doing much photography lately outside of work and also had a new flash and diffuser I was eager to try out. A few costumes and props later, I don’t think any of us were expecting how inventive & excited people would be for the photobooth. Here is just a small selection of some truly awesome models (and costumes!).

Lighting is something I’m always learning more about, and the new flash was perfect for this setting. In a darker room, it’s strength highlighted everyone while still creating a nice soft light. The costumes were bright and the introduction of the frame as a prop brought groups together and accentuated every shot.

An incredibly fun night for all with some great new memories for the happy couple, Sarah & Chris!
