PHOTO: Happy Halloween!

Halloween is one of my personal favourite times of year and this year was no disappointment. I managed to cram about 4 different costumes - ranging from creepy doll, to Hogwarts student, to Katness Everdeen - into what I'm calling "Halloweek".

A group of friends and I have started an unofficial tradition of group costumes for Halloween night. Last year we went with a Doctor Who theme, dressing as various characters from the show. The decision was made last minute with no real planning ahead of time. I like to think we did alright.

This year, we thought ahead a bit more. With the buzz of the new Star Wars movie coming out thie December, there really was no hesitation in what our theme would be.

I wanted to make sure to get photodocumentation of our awesome home-made/ imaginative costumes and capture the 'Star Wars' spirit. Some time was spent looking up the old movie posters and movie stills from the films we were recreating. These projects are always a bit of fun for me to be creative and challenge my photo-shop skills. As it was purely for fun, these aren't my best work ever, but we got a good laugh out of it.

I wonder what we'll get up to next year?
